After 30 years of dancing, 6 years of teaching yoga and meditation, and 3 years of training in the Alexander Technique, Jennifer has been a student of how the body moves for most of her life. While the energy of a group class can be invigorating and supportive – it’s important to occasionally get specific feedback on your own alignment, or to learn modifications built especially for you. Have you ever wondered if you’re doing Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog pose) correctly? And if so, what poses you could do to help alter and improve your access to this pose? Perhaps you have always wanted to work towards more challenging inversions such as Salamba Sirsasana (headstand) or Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand). Jennifer is able to give clear and valuable feedback on the physical practice of Yoga, as well as introduce the deeper philosophical and spiritual threads of the practice: Pranayama, Meditation, Mudras, and Chanting. All props are provided.

Jennifer completed her teacher training from Integral Yoga NYC in 2005. She has been studying Yogic Philosophy, Meditation, Pranayama and Chanting at Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY since 1997. She has been practicing Hatha yoga since 1989.
